‘Physics is the knife that cuts into the grain of nature.’ J. Bronowski

Hello there! Welcome to my home page. Since Nov 2022 I am a Research Fellow in quantum communications at the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Leeds, Leeds, UK, currently with Prof. Mohsen Razavi. This is before I spent 3 years as a PDRA at the Department of Computer Science, University of York, York, UK, with Prof. Stefano Pirandola. I am avid for quantum optics and its applications in, eg, quantum information, quantum computation, and quantum communications. Find recent outcomes of my research here.

This is a “light mixer”, otherwise known as a beam splitter. It’s an all-important device for quantum optics! See an introduction to beam splitters by Alain Aspect here.
